PRIMARK PS bronze: highlight & glow review❤| Beautybykeysh

Again very exited to do this review because as you can see by the title, it’s all about that glow girl✨ I did a quick visit to primark today and that’s where I got shook. I saw this beautifull rose gold kit and it was saying highlight, that’s when I got exited. Without any more chitchat, let’s get this review on and poppin’ ✌

• The packaging

Primark is a budgetstore and it has many cheap stuff, such as this palette…. but damn, they really did their thing with this packaging and design. It looks like the anastasia glowkit. It’s rose gold of colour and it says PS bronze (the makeup line) and the name of the palette, highlight & glow. Personally I really like the ‘Highlight & glow’ part and the font style of it. At the back it says again the line and name and al the ingredients. What I discovered was, if you don’t know the PS line from primark you would never know that this palette is from primark. The only thing that says primark is the sticker on the back, no where on the palette itself. 

The inside of the palette looks like this. I know right, it’s breathtaking for the 5€ I spent. It has four colours , sunbeam and siesta are on the lighter side and sundown and pool party are on the darker side. A great colour range if you ask me. There is no mirror #bummer , but there is a sort of guideline for highlighting and the colours illustrated with colour and name, wich is a bit unnecessary if you ask me.

• Let’s do swatches

WOAH😍 are you as shook as I am? These swatches and colours are everything….I feel like they suit every single skintone and that is hard to find in one palette nowadays. Primark is really grading up their makeup game if you ask me.

Even without the flash it shows off just right. As I already said, two lighter colours and 2 darker colours. The names are nice but it bothers me that benefit already came out with a highlighter called sunbeam. They could be all original, but they decided to copy that name from benefit.

• The formula

The formula is great. I thought it would be powdery as hell, because most cheap highlighters are. But the highlighters even feel like the anastasia glowkit highlighters…buttery and not chalky at all. The keep amazing me like….HOW😍 I don’t want to be over excited but, they do actually smell like the highlighters from the anastasia glowkit…. I’m not even joking, it’s really true!

Pros

• Very cheap 5€
• Easy to get
• Great formula, not chalky
• Great packaging design
• Great colour range
• Great pigmentation

Cons

• 1 highlighter name that is already a name for a benefit highlighter (not original)
• No mirror
• It doesn’t say primark at the packaging at all

Waaaaaay more pros then cons. I would totally recommend this palette to everyone, advanced and not advanced. Beginner or no beginner. I feel like everyone should get it for the 5€ that it costs.  What are your thoughts on this palette after reading this article? SLEEK cream contourkit dark💕

So today I am back with another review for you and this time it is going to be about my favorite contourpalette at this moment 

This is the sleek cream contourkit in the colour dark. I won this palette from the sleek instagram page and I am totally in love. The palette has 6 colours in it and they are perfect for women of colour. 

This is the packaging of the palette, it’s sleek like all sleeks’ packaging. Nothing on it but the brand. The back on the other hand, has a lot of information and they named the colours. Not with an actual name, but with numbers.

So you can see that I got the dark palette and the ingredients of the formula. Standard information, blablabla. But as I said earlier, they named their colours wich I really like.

So these are the six colours swatched. They are named very easy, colour 1 is called 01, colour 2 is called 02 and further. As you maybe can see…they are  very very creamy and easy to blend. I absolutely love the formula of this palette. I use the first three colours to conceal my eyebrows, undereyes, chin and forhead and I use the last three colours to contour and to conceal above my eyebrows, because nobody likes those crazy halo eyebrows that you get from concealing above your brow with a colour that is too light🤗.

Sleek cleopatra’s kiss highlighting palette

As you maybe already know, sleek is one of my favorite brands. After launching two highlighting palettes they have launched a new one called cleopatra’s kiss. Let’s talk about the packaging

The packaging is the same as all the highlighting palettes. A black box with the name of the palette and a sneak peak of the colours in the palette. 

At the back it shows how to use the palette and wich colour you can use for particular areas on your face.

The actual highlighter is again in a golden packaging just like the solstice palette. Again very sleek and very subtle.

At the back it has the colours thats in the palette, again just like the other palettes.

The mirror is also present again wich is a really big plus. It’s big and it doesn’t clap. the palette includes the same brush that’s in the other palettes. I don’t really use that brush, the hairs are too stiff for me.

In order the colours are swatched from sphinx to delta to dynasty to goddes. You can definitely see that the textures of the cream ones are different than the powder colours. I am absolutely in love with this colours, I LOVE gold and this whole palette is just a dripping in Gold palette.

Cleopatra’s kiss is very suitable for woman of colour but I can also be pretty on a lighter skincolour. My favorite colours are sphinx and goddes but it has something to do with the fact that I have to learn how I can use a cream product the best. You can use this highlighters on your face but it would also look very pretty on your body, for example the shoulders or collarbone.

🎀 Sleek Solstice Highlighting Palette 🎀

Today I have another review for you,this time on the sleek solstice highlighting palette. I saw this palette all over instagram and had to buy it, so I did😍
‘highlighting’ has became a very popular in the world of beauty. Next to this trend there is another trend that is based on highlighting, strobing’. If you want to know more about strobing you can Google this here.
Well, this palette is PERFECT for this strobing trend.

The packaging

The box of this palette is a black classy box with the name of the palette and the colours that are in it. Sleek makeup is written at the upperside as usual, that is a typical sleek thing, very clear. You can also see how much product is in the palette.

Then on to the actual palette, my favorite part😍 I can’t get over this super cute packaging. It is gold (one of my favorite colours) and it has a nice shape. Sleek makeup is again written on the front with a white/transparant kind of colour.

On the back of this palette you can read the colours that are in the palette and the website of sleek. The name of the palette is again written at the upperside. The packaging is so simple and yet so beautiful, I can’t get over it 😱

Than the inside of the palette, the most important thing! How beautiful are these colours?! More about that later. You have the four colours and an applicator inside. The big mirror is a super +. The only thing that is annoying for me, is the fact that it can’t open all the way, my other palettes do, so I’m inclined to push it till it is open all the way. But that doesn’t work, it can’t open all the way.

The colours

As we saw on the picture of the backside of the palette, the colours have names. I have put the names on the colours they belong to👆

❤ecliptic – a cream highlighter
❤hemisphere – a baked powder highlighter
❤subsolar – silky shimmery powder highlighter
❤equinox – a baked powder highlighter

So you have two baked powder highlighters, one cream highlighter and one silky shimmery powder variant.

From left to right are the colours ecliptic-hemisphere-subsolar-equinox.
The colours are highly pigmented, especially the hemisphere and equinox 😍

The application

This applicator came with the palette. I think it’s perfect to get the product on your cheekbones. I smudge it out with a random powderbrush, but you can use almost any brush you like!

On the picture above I used the colour equinox on my cheekbone. Really subtile, but heavy at the same time.. I absolutely love it!

On this picture 👆 I used the colour hemisphere. I make the pictures with my phone and the flashlight makes it a little bit ‘colorless’, I’m sorry for that. But you can indeed see the effect that it gives 👏

On this picture 👆 you can see the total package… Highlighted my cheekbones and my browbone.

Would I recommend this product?

I absolutely would! You can make a whole look with this palette and that for only 13,49€!
